Studio 229 on Brevard is the home of CBK Branding & Consulting Firm, owned by Kevin & Monique Douglas.
WE are your premier Digital Marketing Agency providing Branding and Consulting services to C-Suite Executives and small businesses. Our "Boutique" photography, videography and venue rental venue is located in the heart of uptown Charlotte, NC on the corner of 3rd and S. Brevard Streets.
We are located one block from Spectrum Arena and the Charlotte Convention Center with 10 of the largest hotels in uptown less than 2 blocks from our venue. Our multi-functional event studio houses jazz nights & a full retail spirits bar. Plan and execute your own private event or just swing by to soak in the rich history of this historic area once known as the thriving neighborhood of “Brooklyn". This block prides itself as being a part of the former "Black Wall Street" of Charlotte.
This 3200 sq ft location is one of three buildings that make up what today is referred to as the “Brooklyn Collective” and that are each unique event spaces for rent. Connected to Studio 229 on Brevard is the art gallery in the MICo (Mecklenberg Investment Company Building) and next door is the historic church called "the Grace" (121 years old) which functions today as a must see performing arts and event center.
